Body Purfication

Recipes make at least enough for 3-4 baths, unless otherwise noted.
Mix and jar ingredients. Use 1/2 cup per bath.
For bath salts use any combination of the following, add essential oils to your batch:

BATH SALTS, GENERAL COMPONENTS
(1 part each, in any measured combination that adds up to 2 cups )

Borax
Baking soda
Dead Sea rock salt (best)
Sea salt, rock or grains
Table salt
Citric acid

Epsom salts
Dried powdered milk
Finely ground oatmeal

Add up to 10 drops of essential oils per bath, or at least 40 drops to a 4 cup recipe.
Add dried and crushed or powdered herbs as you like. Some that are
beneficial to the skin may include but are not limited to:

Angelica (protection enhancement)
Bergamot
Calendula (marigold)
Chamomile (soothing)

Coriander
Evening Primrose (romantic enhancement)
Frankincense (psychic enhancement)
Geranium
Jasmin
Lime (refreshing and astringent))
Linden (protection enhancement)
Mandarin
Mullein
Nerroli
Palma Rosa
Patchouli (sexual enhancement)
Peppermint (strong,  up to 5 drops per bath)
Rose Absolute (Love Drawing)
Sandalwood
Spikenard
Tangerine
Tansy
Vanilla (soothing)
Vetiver (male element)
Yarrow
Ylang Ylang (refreshing)

FIZZY BATH RECIPE

8 oz wt cornstarch
8 oz Citric Acid
16 oz wt baking soda
up to 1 tsp. Fragrance or Essential Oil

Mix cornstarch and Citric acid together thoroughly.
Add fragrance oil as desired.
Blend in baking soda.

SIMPLE BATH SALTS

4 oz baking soda
8 oz epsom salt
16 oz rock sea salt

You may also add powdered or finely ground herbs and |
up to 10 drops of essential oils per cup of dry ingredients.

GODDESS SALTS

1 cup sea salt
1 cup borax
1/2 cup epsom salt
1/8 cup baking soda

Mix all ingredients, add 1/2 cup to the bath then add

3 drops grapefruit essential oil
2 drops rosemary essential oil
2 drops sweet orange essential oil

HERBAL ENERGY BATH (herbs & oil added to 4 cups of any salt components)

3/4 cup Carnation
1/2 cup Lavendar
1/2 cup Rosemary
1/4 cup Basil
1 2/3 cups bath salt mix (taken from recipe)

Add 10 drops of your favorite essential oil

Let the water cool slightly before bathing. Visualize the water sparkling with fiery droplets of energy that melt into your body, for vitality and power.

ENERGY SOAK (large batch for making gift bags)

4  1/2 cup  Rosemary
1  1/2 cup  Chamomile Flowers    
2 cup  Shave Grass
2 cup  Thyme
2 cup  Marjoram
1 cup  Calendula Petals
1 cup  Spearmint Leaves
1 cup  Catnip
1 cup  Lavender
4 cup  Epsom Salts

Note: all herbs are dried and finely crushed or powdered.

Combine all of the ingredients and store in an airtight container.  To use, enclose 1 cup of the mixture in a drawstring muslin bag. Pour 4 cups of boiling water over it and then steep for 10 minutes. Empty the tea (along with the bag) into a tub of hot soapy water and soak. For gift giving, put 1 cup recipe in a plastic bag, and then in a muslin bag with instructions for use.

LAVENDER BATH SALTS (one cup per bath to indulge)

4 cups Epsom salts
2 cups Sea salt
1 cup table salt
1/8 cup borax
1 cup non fat powdered milk
1 cup baking soda
2 cups oatmeal ground to a very fine powder
in a food processor or coffee grinder-use brand called Old Fashioned
1 tbsp of lavender essential oil

Mix together all the dry ingredients in a large bowl, sieving as you add them.
Add the lavender 10 drops at a time, thoroughly mixing it through.
Do this 4 times, so that the lavender essential oil is distributed as evenly as possible.
